Thank you for checking out our website and welcome to the world of St Mark's School, Inala. We pride ourselves on the spirit that can be found in our students, teachers, sporting teams, achievements, friendships and approach to learning. We are a community dedicated to the provision of high quality, inclusive Catholic education.
We strive to nurture the unique dignity and talents of each member of our multicultural community. We strive for academic excellence within a caring and supportive environment. There is much that we are proud of about our school: it functions as a vital and growing school community. Every child and every family is valued and encouraged to develop strong links in the school, parish and wider community.
The school opened its doors in 1963 and was run by the Sisters of Mercy. St. Mark’s has grown from a humble beginning to continue educating Catholic children in the area. We are located at 92 Lilac Street, Inala, right beside the Catholic Church and we cater for 500 students.
At St Mark's, our motto is “Clearly and Boldly” where we are confident to continue the work of Catherine McAuley ( founder of the Sisters of Mercy) who followed Jesus by serving people in need in order to create a more just society.
Our Vision for Learning focuses on the 5 R’s of Reverence, Relationships, Responsibility, Resilience, Reverence and Respect where students of St. Mark’s will develop the skills to go forward in hope and optimism, ready to engage in a diverse and complex world as responsible Christian citizens. We are a supportive, safe and inclusive community that values life-long learning.
We welcome inquiries from all families eager to join this faith-inspired, learning community. If you have any queries or would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the school on 3372 3408.
